Our Policy
Estimate & Scheduling
After the client accepts the estimate, JG First Class Painting & Remodeling will discuss an available project date with the client. Once a date is agreed upon, we create and send the deposit invoice. The project date is officially reserved and locked into our schedule once the deposit has been received.
Deposit Policy
Once the deposit is submitted and the project date is locked in, the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit allows us to reserve your project date and commit our team, workers, materials, preparation, and other resources specifically to your project.
Because we schedule our workers and plan our business around confirmed projects, cancelling a project after the deposit has been submitted can result in lost time, labor, material costs, and the loss of that date for another client. Please review your estimate, scope of work, pricing, and scheduled date carefully before submitting your deposit.
Rescheduling
If you need to change your project date, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a new date based on our availability. If a client chooses to cancel their originally scheduled date and move the project to a later date, the project must be rescheduled as soon as reasonably possible based on our available schedule.
Delaying the project for an extended period may affect the terms of the original estimate, pricing, materials, or warranty. The deposit remains non-refundable when a client chooses to cancel or change the originally scheduled date.
6-Month Workmanship Warranty
JG First Class Painting & Remodeling provides a 6-month workmanship warranty on qualifying completed work. The warranty covers workmanship issues related to the work performed by JG First Class within the approved scope of work.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by the client or another group, misuse, accidents, moisture or water damage, structural movement, pre-existing conditions, defective client-supplied materials, or manufacturer/product defects. Warranty concerns must be reported to JG First Class so the work can be inspected and the appropriate solution determined.
Client Acknowledgment
By accepting the estimate and submitting the deposit, the client acknowledges that they understand and agree to:
- The approved estimate and scope of work
- The agreed-upon project date
- The deposit requirement
- The non-refundable deposit policy
- The rescheduling policy
- The 6-month workmanship warranty
